Interactive video installation, 2020 SKMU, Sørlandets Kunstmuseum, Kristiansand NO

In this imaginary dialogue with a long deceased painter, I tried to understand his approach to the clearly defined abstract universe. I deconstructed his paintings and turned then into one inter- active video installation. His paintings are suggesting the dynamics that canvas might not carry entirely, therefore, I proposed digital realm and let the audience compose. Shapes and their posi- tions reflect the movement of the audience whose positions are recorded to remain after they left the room.

The work is commissioned by Sørlandets Kunstmuseum, Kristiansand as part of a Gunnar S. Gundersen retrospective exhibition.
